about

This EP takes its name from the film I Want To See For Myself, written and directed by Fanyana Hlabangane. The short documentary looks at Arthur Ashe's quest to visit South Africa during Apartheid.

I composed the music for the film and though these three tracks didn't make it into the film, they are very much inspired by the story and imagery as told by Hlabangane.
